Silverback Ovens is a real shop in Illinois, run by the people who build the ovens. We build the oven we would want in our own shop. Before one leaves, we power it on, run every function, and pre-program the PID controller, so it shows up wired, tested, and ready to run.

Who you are buying from
Andrew
Grew up in Hoffman Estates, in the Chicago suburbs, and got his start with CNC and automation in a fabrication shop in the early 2000s. He is a fully certified HVAC technician (Universal 608), with specialties in sheet metal, electrical systems, and heating and cooling components. That is the exact skill set an oven is built from, and it had him building ovens for years before Silverback existed. Today he runs the product and shop side and handles a lot of the technical support and troubleshooting calls, so if you ever need a hand, the person on the phone is the person who designed the oven.

Mack
Grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado, and joined the Army at 19, serving two tours in Iraq as an infantryman with the 1st Cavalry Division. Since 2020 he has built or helped build more than 500 ovens. He also answers most of the calls that come into the shop, and after hundreds of those conversations he knows what buyers look for, where they get stuck, and how to help. When you call Silverback, there is a good chance you are talking to him.

Cody
Cody is our Lead Production Coordinator. He is fully HVAC certified, with hands-on experience in heating and cooling equipment, electrical wiring, and sheet metal fabrication. Those are the three trades that go into every oven we build. Cody keeps production moving on the shop floor, so the oven you order gets built right and gets out the door. Off the clock he is still turning wrenches on cars, trucks, and small engines, and he collects watches, so precision is not just his day job.
