The 6x4x2 Deluxe is the booth for a shop that wants a taller, dedicated place to spray, with the extras built in. At 6 feet of interior height, it takes longer and bigger parts standing up, keeps the overspray inside the box instead of all over the shop, and lights the work so you can see your coverage. Next to our standard 6x4x2, it runs the bigger 16-inch fan, two filters instead of one, and six more lights down the side walls. It pairs with any oven you run, so you can spray in the booth and cure in your oven without the two jobs fighting for the same floor space.

You keep the overspray contained.
A 16-inch explosion-proof fan (safe to run around spray fumes) pulls the airborne powder out of the box. That is a cleaner shop and a cleaner finish.
You can actually see what you are coating.
Ten recessed LED lights, four in the ceiling and three down each side wall, light the part evenly so you catch thin spots before they cure in.
The electrical is simple.
It plugs into a standard 20-amp wall outlet with the cord that comes attached. No heavy dedicated circuit or hardwiring like an oven needs (a dedicated 20-amp circuit for this outlet is recommended, so check with your electrician if you are unsure what is already on that line).
It ships ready to run.

The 6 inch top is filled with R30 rockwool, and it is standard on every one of our ovens.
Rockwool is the premium choice for insulation. Every oven with the 6 inch top is filled with R30 rockwool as standard, and that top covers about 30 percent of the oven's surface area.
It costs about three times what standard insulation costs. We use it anyway, because the top is where the heat goes.

Heat rises. Natural convection pulls it to the ceiling of the oven, so the ceiling is where you lose it.
R30 rockwool in a deeper ceiling cavity against R11 in a shallow one is a 63 percent reduction in heat loss through the top. You also get a more consistent finish run to run, because the box holds its temperature instead of chasing it.
The 63 percent figure compares an R30 ceiling to an R11 ceiling, using published R-value data from insulationrvalues.com/fiberglass-vs-mineral-wool. It describes heat loss through the top of the oven, not a guaranteed utility bill.

The light sits flush in the ceiling. Nothing hangs down for a cart to break.
Fully recessed and flush with the ceiling, so the light can never interfere with loading or unloading. It throws light down across your parts, top to bottom.
The housing is reached from an access panel on top of the oven, so changing a bulb does not mean climbing inside. Each window comes with its own interior light and its own switch.

The dual door latches connect to the sheet metal and the structural frame across the entire front and side of the oven, wrapping around both the front corner and the back corner.
When the latch is engaged it has the full strength of the oven frame behind it. That gives you a door seal that actually seals, and keeps the heat inside where it matters.

We did not have to put custom inside corner brackets from top to bottom in our ovens. We could have squirted some high temp sealant in the corner and called it a day.
Instead the sheet of steel is overlapped from the back wall, so there is no crack to see through. High temp RTV sealant goes over that. Then a custom top to bottom bracket goes over it, covering the wall seam mechanically and adding rigidity. That is the triple seal.

We do not just use standard mechanical fasteners. We take the extra step and install permanent rivets on all joining surfaces of the structural frame, on every Silverback product.
No loosening of the frame, for the lifetime of the product. Most others use screwed connections only.

The control box is the heart of the oven, and it holds the most expensive parts to replace if something ever happens to them. Electronics last longer when they run cooler.
So every control box comes standard on a custom stay cool bracket that holds it about two inches off the oven wall, with an air gap behind it. The controls stay at ambient temperature and the oven lasts longer.

Butt joints scream bare minimum. We chose to do more, because it looks better and it works better.
On a common oven frame the ceiling sits on top of the side walls, so butt jointed face trim leaves that seam exposed. That is heat loss and no added strength. Our 45 degree mitered face trim covers the seam completely and mends the ceiling to the side wall. Then a second custom piece covers the miter itself.

If you need it to run your oven, it comes standard. We do not believe in making the basics cost more. You can add features, but we will not charge you for something that should have been in the box.
On the 30 amp models it is a NEMA L14-30 twist lock on 10/4 wire. The 50 amp models get the same treatment. It plugs in instead of being hardwired.

A PID controller holds a precise temperature for a set period of time, with a built in timer. A basic thermostat swings.
Auto tune is the part that matters. It calibrates itself to your specific oven model in your specific shop environment, so the oven learns its own room instead of guessing.

Is this company real? Who am I buying from?
Fair question with a piece of equipment this size. Silverback is a real shop. Every booth is built and tested in our Illinois shop, our address is on this site, and the company is veteran owned. Call and you will talk to an actual person, every time.
What will freight cost?
Freight is real money on a unit this tall, and we do not hide it. Your booth ships on a custom pallet, wrapped and strapped, with 48-inch plywood protective skirting around it. Two charges are added only when they apply: $70 for residential delivery and $70 for a liftgate if you have no dock or forklift.
You see your freight cost at checkout: add the booth to your cart and continue to checkout. That number is the carrier's real rate for your address, passed through with no markup added.
Will it fit my parts and my space?
Measure your longest part and your ceiling. This booth gives you a full 6 feet of usable height inside, the same as our standard 6x4x2, so bigger and longer parts spray standing up. The interior above is usable space, not the outside of the box. If you are between sizes or want it bigger, call us. “Can you make it bigger†is one of the most common calls we get.
Will I get a clean finish in it?
A clean finish starts with a clean spray environment. The 16-inch explosion-proof fan pulls the overspray out of the box so it is not drifting back onto your part or settling around the shop, and this booth runs twice the filters, two instead of one, catching that overspray on the way out. The 10 recessed LED lights, four in the ceiling and three down each side wall, light the work evenly so you can see your coverage as you lay it down. You spray in the booth and cure in your oven, so prep, spray, and cure each happen in their own place.
What happens if something breaks?
A 2-year parts warranty comes standard on this booth, and you get lifetime phone support: call us for as long as you own it and we will walk you through it, no matter when you bought. Warranty parts are sent out once you mail the broken part back.
What is included in the price?
The 6x4x2 Deluxe is sold as one complete, ready-to-run build. It ships fully wired and tested, with the 16-inch fan, all 10 recessed LED lights, and the integrated cord and plug already installed. The one optional add-on is the washable K&N filter set, two filters, if you would rather clean filters than keep buying disposables. Set it, plug it in, and start spraying.

Returns
Cancel within 24 hours for a full refund; after that a 20% restocking fee applies. Returns within 30 days of receiving the booth carry a 20% restocking fee, you cover return shipping, and the booth must be in original condition.
If there is major damage, refuse the shipment and we will handle the claim, repair or replace, and reship.
