This is the buy that makes a home build actually work. It is a complete, prewired PID control box (a control box built around a PID controller, which holds your set temperature automatically): the enclosure, the controller, and every electrical component, assembled and wired before it leaves our shop. Bolt it onto a DIY oven build, or use it to retrofit the controls on an oven or heating setup you already have. It is for the builder who wants to own the metalwork and let us handle the part that is hard to get right: the controls.

Will it work with my power?

I could just build one myself.
You could, and on materials alone a home build can come out cheaper. The real cost is time and risk: the hours spent sourcing parts and wiring are hours not spent coating paid work, and a home build is not engineered, tested, or warrantied. This box shows up in 5 to 7 business days, wired and ready, with a 2-year parts warranty behind it. If you are set on building, we also sell the bare PID controllers and parts, which are the hard part to source.

What is included in the price?
It arrives ready to bolt on. The box ships prewired and tested, with the mounting bracket and power cord included, and a 2-year parts warranty and lifetime phone support are included at no upcharge. Add-ons are optional, so you only pay for what your work needs.
Do you help with setup?
Yes. Lifetime phone support is included: call for as long as you own it and we will walk you through setup, programming, or a repair, no matter when you bought. Everything you need is printed on this page in plain text.
What is ramp and soak, and who needs it?
Ramp and soak means the controller steps through a temperature schedule on its own: it ramps up to a temperature, holds it (the soak), then moves to the next step. Most powder jobs cure at a single temperature, so the standard controller covers them. If you run multi-step cures like Cerakote, ramp and soak is exactly what you want.
In our line, ramp and soak comes on the Bluetooth Ramp and Soak controller, which you program from your phone. The other controllers, including the touchscreen, do not include it.
How does the Bluetooth Ramp and Soak app work?
The Bluetooth Ramp and Soak controller pairs with a free phone app (Quick Tune, in the app store). You set temperatures, times, and stepped profiles in plain English on your phone instead of stepping through shorthand menus on the controller face, and it stores up to 20 profiles with up to 9 steps each.

Shipping, in plain terms
Free shipping. PID controllers and control boxes ship free, as small parts, so there is no freight charge to figure in. If it arrives visibly damaged, note it and let us know and we will make it right.
Warranty and support
Your control is backed by our warranty, and you get phone support if you need help with the part: call us and we will walk you through setup, programming, or a repair. Warranty parts are sent out once you mail the broken part back.
Returns
Cancel within 24 hours for a full refund; after that a 20% restocking fee applies. Returns within 30 days of receiving your order carry a 20% restocking fee, you cover return shipping, and the item must be in original condition.
If there is major damage, refuse the shipment and we will handle the claim, repair or replace, and reship.
